Noor Nibras Software House (N2SH), a trailblazing AI Research and Development (R&D) company based in the UAE, proudly announces a significant milestone with the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) alongside the Smart Lab of the University of Tunis (ISG Tunis). This collaboration represents a crucial stride forward in advancing AI R&D initiatives, with a primary focus on the evolution of the Miz@n 2.0 B2C and B2B platform.
The joint effort between Noor Nibras and SMART Lab has launched a comprehensive R&D program aimed at enhancing AI modules for the Miz@n 2.0 B2C and B2B platform. By combining expertise and resources, both entities are dedicated to making substantial contributions to the field of AI technology.
A half-day online workshop convened on December 27, 2023, with the participation of 22 scholars and practitioners. The workshop's objective was to define the objectives and scope of the Program, along with establishing a collaboration framework and an implementation plan.
Anticipated outcomes of the collaboration include the integration of 28 advanced AI features into Miz@n, tailored to support micro-, small-, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), as well as larger national enterprises. Emphasizing cross-border trade facilitation, AI-as-a-service delivery, and support for free trade agreements (including AfCFTA and GCC FTA), the collaboration aims to strengthen broader international trade networks.
In addition to technological advancements, Noor Nibras and SMART Lab aspire to contribute to academic growth by publishing scholarly articles and patents. Educational and training programs will be initiated, catering to individuals pursuing degrees at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels.
Following the example set by industry leaders such as Google, Microsoft, IBM, Amazon, Facebook, and Nvidia, who have successfully fostered innovation through collaborations with academic institutions, research organizations, and industry associations, Noor Nibras and SMART Lab aim to drive AI innovation with a focus on deep learning standardization.
This groundbreaking initiative, the first of its kind in the AI landscape, has initial support directed towards Africa, MENA, and GCC countries for cross-border trade. Leveraging the Smart Applications for everything (SMApp4X), Noor Nibras' innovative AI model, the collaboration seeks to create dynamic solutions adaptable across various industries.
The leadership of this initiative will be entrusted to 26 scholars and professionals, supported by students, developers, and support staff. Together, they are poised to shape the future of AI in the regions, fostering advancements that benefit a diverse range of businesses and contribute significantly to educational growth in the field.
